Natina Steel was used to beautify the galvanized guardrail on this project located in the scenic Lake Tahoe area. We applied 2 coats of Natina Steel in the field (although sometimes we also pre-treat guardrails at our facility in Coachella, CA) and within 10 days the guardrails had developed a rustic brown finish to better match surrounding landscapes.

The State of New Mexico's Abandoned Mine Land Program used Natina Steel to color the wire mesh used on the Lake Valley Mine Safeguard Project. The mesh manufacturer offered to powder coat the mesh but indicated that the color would only last for 5 years before fading. Since Natina contains no color pigments, but instead derives its color through the oxidation process, the color should literally last for decades without fading from sun exposure. So, the AML Program opted to use Natina and they are amazed by how well it matches the surrounding terrain.

Natina Steel was applied to over 2 miles of galvanized guardrail along the coast on Mulholland Highway in Los Angeles County. Now, these guardrails have a beautiful rustic brown finish that matches the surrounding environment. With Natina Steel, no longer do shiny galvanized guardrails have to detract from beautiful landscapes.
