The latest addition to our highly successful desert varnish product line, Natina Steel, promises more of the same. Natina Steel is able to achieve rustic brown finishes on a variety of galvanized metal surfaces (i.e. guardrails, chain-link, sign posts, etc.) for a fraction of the cost of other coloring systems (i.e. painting and/or powder coating).

Caltrans - Echo Summit
Natina Steel was used to beautify the galvanized guardrail on this project located in the scenic Lake Tahoe area. We applied 2 coats of Natina Steel in the field (although sometimes we also pre-treat guardrails at our facility in Coachella, CA) and within 10 days the guardrails had developed a rustic brown finish to better match surrounding landscapes.

Caltrans - San Diego
Natina Steel's advanced color treatment costs far less than alternative colorants and has already been used to stain millions of square feet of fencing. For this Caltrans project, we treated 50,000 SF of fence and 15,000 SF of toad mesh (in addition to all the other components). Not only will the color outlast vinyl, painted, and/or powder coated fence but the cost is substantially lower as well. This is a great solution anytime you want fencing to blend into the surrounding landscape.
